Conflict over Palenstine
By Michael Mylar
Post WWII Middle East
After World War II had ended, every nation in the Middle East, except Palestine, gained independence from foreign rule. Zionists that migrated from Europe to Palestine had wanted to claim the land of Palestine as their own. This was fueled by the Balfour Declaration of 1917 that encouraged that Palestine would be the homeland for the Jews which would later lead to the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.
